The upload format for your contacts in form of address tables is XLS (Excel Format) or CSV (Comma Separated Values). Any standard database and spreadsheet program offers the possibility to save and export data in CSV format.
First row of the file has to contain the headings of columns (first name, last name, e-mail, etc.) so that the allocation to the master data fields is easier when uploading the file in your eyepin contact database.
- Click to your right hand-side to select either an existing contact list or setup a new one to add your list and then enable Update Existing Addresses and determine that your list has headers.
- In the next step (window) you can manually assign the names of your Standard columns to the fields in your contact database, that have not been not recognized automatically. Click Custom to assign self-defined data fields. You can upload the contacts into multiple clients and register them to specific topics depending on your authorization and product. To do this simply click on Clients/Topic using your Marketing Suite.
- Click Next to upload data. You will receive a detailed upload report where you can download all the results before closing it and so losing the deatiled import-info.
